The Iowa United Nations Association is the Iowa affiliate of the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA). The Iowa UNA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. We educate Iowans about the work of the United Nations and its importance for Iowa, engage Iowans in campaigns to support the humanitarian work of UN agencies, and advocate for constructive United States leadership in the world body.

Education is a core objective of the Iowa United Nations Association. We work hard to keep the people of Iowa informed about the values of the UN, and the actual differences that it makes on both the global scene and here in the Midwest.
The Iowa UNA advocates for international and state policy change when it affects the well-being of Iowans. We are often faced with similar challenges as others around the world. That's why we work hard to urge for continued support of the UN to Congress and the Senate. If you want to learn more about our advocacy agency, click here.

Our vision is to globally engage Iowans through support of the life-saving and life-changing work of the United Nations. Our mission page describes our core values and goals. To read more about our mission, click here.
